Day 8 – Cabo San Lucas
Cabo San Lucas was the last destination on our cruise before heading home.

Cabo San Lucas
There isn’t a port at Cabo like at other locations, so we had to take the tenders in. Adrian and I didn’t have anything planned for Cabo, but when we got off the ship there were a LOT of locals pandering various trips, options, activities, etc. We went with a glass bottom boat ride around the rock formations that Cabo is famous for.
Unfortunately, my motion sickness patch had moved, and I soon began feeling extremely sick. So, we sat down at a tiny outdoor bar where I had a few Coronas, then walked around the area. We walked to the Cabo Wabo Cantina to pick up some souvenirs for some friends back home, and stopped in at a bar on the way back. $5 for two shots of tequila, and two more coronas. Given the three I’d had earlier, I was now feeling rather good! On the way back to the ship we were ‘hassled’ by a local with an iguana, who put it on my shoulder. I was happy and drunk so I enjoyed it, Adrian took a picture, and the local tried to get money from us. We had none left at that point, which Adrian clearly told him before he shoved the iguana on me, so, poor local guy. Yay for iguana
PS – for right now, I KNOW I have a million photos of the rock formations, and I know that they are almost all exactly the same! Skip through those ones quickly if you like. This is temporary! After this site is up and running, I WILL delete all (or at least a LOT) of the duplicates.
